The Kamps Are Back In St. Louis!

Hello! We are officially back in St. Louis and are two weeks away from closing on our new home! We are soooo excited and hope that everyone will come visit us someday soon!

We have been enjoying everyday with Vivien! She is absolutely amazing! She is very curious and loves to be around family and friends! She is quite busy - she goes to play dates, music group, swim lessons and Gymboree and absolutely loves it :-)

We traveled to Kansas City for Easter to celebrate with the Elfrink family. We had a lot of fun doing all of the traditional Easter activities - including coloring eggs and hunting for eggs!

Vivien is such an angel and is always happy! She has the most contagious laugh!

Vivien met the Easter Bunny on Easter Sunday morning - this picture doesn't show it but she really thought the Easter Bunny was pretty cool!

Below is our Easter family picture - not too bad!

Vivien loved swinging in Cousin Oliver's swing!

We officially sold our Denver home in April and moved back to St. Louis. We miss our dear friends in Denver and hope that they will come visit us in St. Louis sometime soon!

Vivien LOVES her nanny Sarah - they do everything together including visiting the zebras at the zoo!

Vivien even took Jay and I to the zoo and showed us around some of her favorite hangouts - here she is touring the bird cages.

Vivien visited the Magic House for the first time and really enjoyed experiencing all of the different and exciting things!

Vivien was so amazed with the challenges of maneuvering through the play area filled with plastic balls at the Magic House - they were everywhere!

Vivien loves our St. Louis apartment - she pretty much owns the entire complex including the pool! She knows more of the residents than Jay and I - every time we see someone they say hello to Vivien and are curious who Jay and I are :-)

Vivien loves to play by the pool steps - it is definitely her special corner!

Vivien chillin pool side!

Vivien showed off her walking skills at the Milwaukee airport while we waited for Grandpa and Grandma Kamps to arrive!

Vivien surprised Grandpa and Grandma Kamps by walking to greet them as they made their way through the airport!

Grandma Kamps is obviously a favorite!

Both Charlotte and Vivien really enjoy spending time with Mimaw - it is pretty funny watching both granddaughters go after Mimaw when she walks in the room!

I celebrated my first Mothers Day with Vivien and Jay - they surprised me with flowers and a very nice Sunday brunch!

Vivien was definitely in the party mood at Oliver and Charlottes' birthday party - check out that hat!

Oliver's cake was sooo cool - it had tractors on it!

Charlotte really enjoyed her first birthday cake and took advantage that it was all hers!

Vivien and Charlotte enjoyed a nice break from the party on the swing set!

Vivien loves to stick her tongue out and make noises - here she is relaxing making some of her favorite noises.

Vivien's infectious laugh is awesome!

Vivien is very daring and will try anything including riding her friend's bike even before she can walk!

Vivien is a very good eater especially with fruit, cheese, yogurt, cereal and snacks. She will even entertain her vegetables but sometimes we have to mask them with some other food!

Vivien loves to surprise Jay and I in the morning by standing in bed when it is time to get up!

Vivien has perfected her standing and is quickly learning to walk - she only needs to hold lightly onto someones hands in order to maneuver as quickly as possible! Jay and I think she will be walking soon!

Look at Vivien's two new bottom teeth that showed up Memorial Day weekend!

Jay, Vivien and I hope to close soon on our brand new home in St. Louis. Below is a picture with more to follow as soon as we close the deal!!

We Have Certainly Been Busy!!!

Jay, Vivien and I have certainly been busy! We had a wonderful holiday season and saw many of our family and friends! Jay also accepted a job at Purina and we are in the process of moving to St. Louis! We are very excited!

Vivien brings us much joy every day! She is now sitting up, eating cereal and pears, giggling and fake coughing. She is very curious and loves to say da-da!

We celebrated Thanksgiving this year with the Simm Family! We had a wonderful meal and were very thankful for all three beautiful babies that came into our life during 2009!

We visited Jay's family in Minneapolis over Thanksgiving weekend. Vivien was very excited to see Grandpa and Grandma!

Vivien also met her Aunt Amy for the first time!

And absolutely LOVES her Cousin Charlie!

And, her Cousin Anna was sooo sweet and took great care of Vivien!

We celebrated St. Nicholas Day and Vivien received her very own cell phone!

Uncle Kyle and Uncle Cory visited us in December and we went to the mountains to watch the snowboard competitions!

Our nanny, Kim, moved back to Boston over the holidays! We have certainly missed Kim but our family has pitched in and Vivien has loved every minute of it!

Vivien's First Christmas was very much celebrated! Doesn't she look like a little baby doll?!!

Vivien, Oliver and Charlotte were very anxious about Santa Claus coming! They were very busy on Christmas Eve - they went to church, celebrated Aunt Jessica's birthday, made cookies for Santa Claus and were patient enough to have their pictures taken before they went to bed :-)

Vivien LOVES her bouncy from Santa Claus! She is really good at making a lot of noise!

The only bummer during our Christmas vacation was that we spent 12 hours in O'Hare airport and missed the Kamps Family Christmas Party :-( However, Vivien was definitely the happiest person in the airport and our time there went by a lot faster as we were very busy entertaining and meeting a lot of new people - she is very social!

Vivien did finally make it to Combined Locks and met her Great Aunt Perc and Great Aunt Theresa!

And, Vivien met her Uncle Steve - it looks like she is sharing some great Christmas stories!

She also enjoyed hanging out with Uncle Matt while the "big kids" played Wii!

We celebrated Jay's birthday in early January and Vivien helped him blow out his candles!

Grandpa and Grandma Kamps visited us in Denver for two weeks - Vivien had so much fun! She helped Grandma make her famous Valentine cookies and she enjoyed reading the paper and working on the computer with Grandpa!

Aunt Deb also stayed with us for a week in Denver! Vivien, Lindsay and Deb kept very busy walking through the park and preparing the house for a lot showings!
Jay surprised Vivien and I with a trip to Los Cabos Mexico! We had a wonderful and very relaxing time!

Isn't she adorable!

We enjoyed a beautiful walk along the beach one morning and even saw some whales!

Vivien really enjoyed the water and went swimming around the pool with Jay!

Doesn't she look so chic in her fashionable sunglasses!

She really loved hanging out with Jay on our hotel room patio - I think that may be a whale in the background?!!

Isn't this the picture of relaxation! What an angel!
