Vivien Turns 3 Months Old!!

Vivien has turned three months old!! She continues to experience a lot of "firsts" including flying, a wedding, Halloween, A LOT of snow, etc, etc. Stacey has gone back to work and Vivien absolutely loves our nanny Kimberly!

Vivien's first flight was on Southwest to visit family and friends in Missouri! She did awesome - she slept the entire way - there and back!!

We went to our friend Kristen's wedding in Poplar Bluff, MO. Vivien slept through church so could have plenty of energy to party at the reception!

Vivien met our great friends Linda and Sarah! Stacey actually started babysitting Sarah when Sarah was Vivien's age!


Vivien still loves to talk! She spoke a lot with family and friends while we were in Missouri. Below she caught up with Papa and Mimaw!

Vivien loved Halloween!! She was a very happy PUMPKIN!!

Vivien and her cousin Charlotte dressed up while we were in Cape Girardeau - Charlotte was a beautiful Ladybug!

We also played Halloween dress up with cousin Oliver (the black spider) and cousin Cohen (the gray elephant)!

and, we finished our Halloween celebration back in Denver at our neighborhood Halloween Party! The costumes were soooo AMAZING!

Vivien also experienced her first brewery tour at the New Belgium Brewery in Fort Collins! She was too young to try any of the free beer but she did socialize a lot!

Vivien also enjoys her football weekends! Below is the Packer Bar we go to most Sundays after church :-)

and she loves to watch MU football too!

and she also enjoyed a good CU football game this past weekend!

We have had quite a bit of snow so far in Denver! In order to show you how deep it was I tried to place her in the middle of the picnic table but then she started to sink into the deep, deep snow! All in all we had about 18 inches!

Vivien's Two Month Update

Vivien had her Two Month check up last Friday. She is a very healthy and happy baby! She is now 24.5 inches long (99% percentile) and 11 pounds 6 ounces (67% percentile) - Jay and I think she may be a professional volleyball player!

Vivien visited a local pumpkin patch! She was "Frightfully Cute"!!

Vivien went grocery shopping with her dad for the first time - needless to say all of Jay's "price checking" put Vivien to sleep!



Vivien's Sunday routine includes watching her favorite football team - GO PACK GO!! - check out the socks!!



Vivien also enjoys tummy time especially if Mommy, Daddy or her baby doll does it as well!



Another first for Vivien - her first Major League Baseball Game! The Rockies beat the Brewers -sorry Grandpa!



And, can you believe it?!! We have already had snow! Vivien was so excited to wake up to snow that we went out side to play in it before breakfast!!

Vivien Is Already 6 Weeks Old!!!

Hello, family and friends! Vivien celebrated her 6 week birthday this past weekend! She is a very healthy baby and keeps both Jay and I very busy....

She loves to SLEEP!

and she loves to be SWADDLED!

and she loves to meet NEW FRIENDS - Hello, Steve!

and she loves to EAT!

We celebrated Vivien's baptism over Labor Day weekend. We were very fortunate that her grandparents were able to travel to Denver for the second time in one month! Vivien also met her cousins Oliver and Charlotte and Uncle Craig and Aunt Jessica! We had a wonderful weekend and celebrated a lot!

Uncle Craig (aka, the Godfather) and Vivien spent some quality time over the weekend.



We all with to the Aquarium for dinner on Saturday night! The huge acquarium in the dining room was an awesome sight and even had a scuba diver!

Vivien Enjoying Her New Home

We welcomed Vivien to her new home on Tuesday, August 11th! She has mastered her eating and sleeping skills and Mom and Dad are doing great! She continues to gain weight and inches! Her weight at her doctor's appointment last week was 8 pounds 10 oz or 70% percentile, however, we are convinced that she has passed the 9 pound mark this past week! Her length is 21.75 inches, which is .75 more than at birth and is in the 92% percentile. Her head circumference is 14.75 inches or 80% percentile.

We were very fortunate and thankful that both sets of grandparents were able to come visit us the week Vivien was born! They were a tremendous help and we enjoyed some fabulous meals and bonding time!
