Vivien Enjoying Her New Home

We welcomed Vivien to her new home on Tuesday, August 11th! She has mastered her eating and sleeping skills and Mom and Dad are doing great! She continues to gain weight and inches! Her weight at her doctor's appointment last week was 8 pounds 10 oz or 70% percentile, however, we are convinced that she has passed the 9 pound mark this past week! Her length is 21.75 inches, which is .75 more than at birth and is in the 92% percentile. Her head circumference is 14.75 inches or 80% percentile.

We were very fortunate and thankful that both sets of grandparents were able to come visit us the week Vivien was born! They were a tremendous help and we enjoyed some fabulous meals and bonding time!

Vivien Elizabeth Kamps

Hello! Jay and I welcomed Vivien Elizabeth Kamps at 1:52AM Sunday, August 9, 2009! She weighed 7 lbs 14 oz and was 21 inches long. Vivien arrived fast and furious - just two hours after arriving at the hospital.

August 7th Due Date

August 8, 2009

We continue to anxiously await the arrival of Baby K! Our August 7th due date has passed and we are excited that our baby will make their arrival any day now! Attached is a picture of Jay and I at the Cubs/Rockies Game on our due date! We had a great time except that the Cubs did not win. But we did enjoy some ice cream after the game!

We will definitely keep everyone posted on our progress!
